Guided Maduruoya National park Half Day Safari

Maduru Oya National Park is one of the National Parks of Sri Lanka. It was designated as a National Park on 9th November 1983. It was established under the Mahaweli development project and also acts as a catchment of the Maduru Oya Reservoir. It is 58,849 hectares in content is located in the dry zone and 314 km from Colombo and works as a sanctuary for wildlife. The Maduru Oya National Park is famous for its Elephant habitat. Other than Elephants there are wild animals such as Leopards, Sloth Bears, Sambhur, Spotted and Barking Deer, Wild Boar and Wild Buffalo it is home for over 100 species birds. Other than that there is a group of Veddas the indigenous people of Sri Lanka lives within the boundaries of Maduru Oya National Park.

• Personal effects for Warm/Windy/Rainy conditions should be carried by clients.
• Clients have Binoculars and Camara etc , it would be better
• Clients must have good pair of Shoes/boots, Sutable wear of Safari and Sunglasses
• Insect repellent, Sunburn lotion etc. are recommended Special dietary requirements should be notified in advance.
