Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest national park, where coverd by 1317 square kilometers.Its situated in the Northen western of Srilankan boarding the 3 District called puttalam,Anurdhapura and mannar, there is 180km from capital city of colombo ,with a drive time of approximately four hours. Wilpattu National park is the home for elusive leopards, sloth bears, elephants, more than 150 varieties of birds, and numerous other animals, making Wilpattu National Park an ideal destination for wildlife enthusiasts eager to experience Sri Lanka’s rich biodiversity. Wilpattu National Park apart of denser forest cover compared to other national parks in Sri Lanka. The landscape of Wilpattu National Park features dry zone forests and thorny scrub, interspersed with expansive open plains, sand dunes, and the distinctive Villu wetlands. Wilpattu National Park has gained a reputation as one of the premier locations for spotting leopards in Sri Lanka. Wilpattu, derived from Tamil, means "Land of Lakes" or "Land of Ten Lakes". It refers to Sri Lanka's largest national park, famously characterized by its unique "villus" (natural, shallow, rain-fed water basins or lakes) that create a picturesque landscape, serving as a sanctuary for diverse wildlife.

• Personal effects for Warm/Windy/Rainy conditions should be carried by clients.
• Insect repellent, Sunburn lotion etc. are recommended
• Special dietary requirements should be notified in advance.
• Clients must have good pair of Shoes/boots, Sutable wear of Safari and Sunglasses
• Clients have Binoculars and Camara etc , it would be better
