
Guided Yala National Park Full day/Half day Safari
Yala National Park is second Largest Nation park and most famous ,highest numbers of visiting National park of Srilanka. Where located in the south eastern region of Sri Lanka and extends over two provinces of Hambantota district of southern province and Monaragala district in Uva province. The entrance to the park is at Palatupana, 12km from Kirinda. The distance from Colombo to the entry point of Palatupana is 305 km. Yala National Park that consists of six blocks Though Yala spreads over an area of 1260 square kilometers, only one fifth of the area is open to the visitors. Four-fifths of the park is a strictly designated Natural Reserve. Adjoining the eastern border of the park is Kumana.This park is home to an extensive variety of 44 varieties of mammal and over 215 bird species, including at least 7 endemics. Among the residents are one of the highest densities of elusive leopards, resident herds of majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted deer, and crocodiles. A range of exciting activities are offered at our partner properties on the edge of Yala National Park including private safaris, nature walks, kayaking in one of the large lakes, and visiting archaeological ruins.. This wildlife sanctuary has grown over the years. Nestled in the south-east corner of Sri Lanka, the park is home to a high concentration of leopards. Yala also shelters an abundance of Asian elephant, wild buffalo, sloth bear, jackal, sambar deer, and magnificent bird species.

- Since this Safari activity is conducted in a National Park, you must follow the rules and regulations there. Our Naturalist guide will provide you with the necessary information and guidance and assist him when needed.
- Be prepared for weather conditions such as heat, wind, and rain.
- If you have equipment such as binoculars and a camera, it is very valuable.
- Our organization is not responsible for accidents (animal attacks, injuries, illnesses, deaths) that occur during this Safari activity.
