Hanthana Mountain Hike

The Hanthana Mountain Range, a protected environmental area 1100meters above the sea level situated of middle of Kandy, Sri Lanka, consists of seven peaks reaching up to with the highest being Uura Kanda and katusu konda.. Famed for hiking, camping ,exlporing etc. Hanthana Mountain is one of famous hiking trail amoung the local university students who speically University of Peradeniya and based the many romantic stories ,songs of Srilanka. Hanthana Mountain trail is a 6-9km trek through mountainous terrain in Hanthana. The trail includes several ascents as well as descents, and you will be hiking among tea estates of the “Upper Lance” before reaching the Hanthana mountain range.

• Personal effects for Warm/Windy/Rainy conditions should be carried by clients.
• Insect repellent, Sunburn lotion etc. are recommended Special dietary requirements should be notified in advance.
• Clients must have good pair of Shoes/boots, leech socks, long sleeve t-shirts and pants
