The Kirigalpoththa hike is a 14-km round-trip trail in Horton Plains National Park where Sri Lanka's second-highest peak (2,388m). The hike of kirigalpoththa challenging, less-crowded trek through diverse terrains, including cloud forests, grassy plains, and rocky areas, requiring good fitness for the final steep ascent to the summit. Arriving at Horton Plains entrance by 6.00 a.m
Brifly Explanation about the trekking
Starting the trekking by 6.30 am.
Kirigalpoththa trail is one of challenging trails which leading 14km both way route ,wil take 3 hours for one way.
Refreshments time and Relaxing at top of kirigalpoththa mountain.
Trekking back to same route around 12am reach the Main office at Horton plains
